Couples Massage

Couples Massage

During a couples massage, two people are receiving massages in the same room with two different therapists. Generally both people are getting the same type of massage, which can range from Swedish to deep tissue to hot stone. There aren’t any hard and fast rules on talking: the couple can talk to each other during the massage session, or if they agree, can just be quiet and relax.

Reflexology

Reflexology Massage uses various touch techniques on specific points of the feet and hands to normalize body function, restore energy throughout the body, and maintain optimum health. Reflexology practitioners theorize that there are major reflex points in the hands and feet corresponding to each organ and major muscle group in the body. Pressure on these points releases restricted energy flow and improves blood supply. Since the extremities have a rich supply of nerve endings, stimulation to these points can have far-reaching effects, including release of endorphins into the bloodstream, providing pain relief and a feeling of well-being.
